The novelty from Velan Studios named Knockout City™ was released on Steam on May 21, 2021, and, according to GameSensor’s estimation, during the first month of release, platform users purchased almost 100 thousand copies of the game. Sales of the game during this time amounted to about $1.5 million.
The rating of Knockout City on Steam is 4.5 stars out of 5. On the aggregator website Metacritic, the PC version of Knockout City™ was rated by critics at 80 points out of 100, and players gave it 6.6 points out of 10 possible. According to them, the game was too straightforward and uninteresting.
In addition to developing Knockout City™, Velan Studios has also taken over the publishing duties. For the studio, the game is the first project on the Steam platform.
